John Terry: The Great Defender

Although England didn't win their last match to fight Portugal and they didn't make it to the semifinals, I still love John Terry and his plays. I was aware of him for the first time at England vs. Trinidad and Tobago match. He plays wonderful as a defender and saved England at that match. If not for John Terry, England would have lost in the first round. He was considered as the man of the match because of these reasons;

"He is the Budweiser Man of the Match because he made few errors and had a perfect game in defence," said FIFA Technical Study Group member Alvin Corneal. "He made up for his team-mates' mistakes and he was the one who stopped most of Ecuador's best chances."

Even thought these experts admire him for his performance during the England vs. Ecuador match but I fell in love with him because of his plays when England fought Trinidad and Tobago :)

Here it is, the Great Defender in Action ;p

Look how he saved the game by kicking out the ball out just above the goal line, what a responsive action. Amazing :) hehehe
